A Waking Giant
A stock up 80% today. No news released on a fairly quiet stock but it’s up 80% today.  This type of thing happens in penny stocks. It can be a wild ride and when you’re on the winning side of an 80% trade it feels pretty good. This case might involve someone loading up before a news release or someone picking up on a moving stock hitting a buy level, or a lack of sellers at lower levels and market order buys getting filled at higher prices. Any way you cut it this stock is likely to fall soon, but I will be paying attention to the volumes, because as the volumes increase on a stock like this, the volatility is likely to continue.
The stock is Grande Portage Resources GPG.V which closed the day at $0.18.
